HOW DO I REGISTER ! |

(a) To register simply click on the "register" link in the header of the homepage and fill out the registration form.
You'll then be receive a confirmation email from "AuctionBidz", so you can confirm your registration, once you click on the confirmation link in this email your AuctionBidz account will then be activated.

I'M UNDER 18, CAN I SIGN UP? |
|
(a) In accordance with the law, under 18's cannot participate in auctions as they are legal binding contracts.

HOW CAN I CONTACT AUCTIONBIDZ ADMINISTRATION? |
|
(a) To contact AuctionBidz Administration, simply click the "contact us" link in the header of the homepage and fill out the form and send it or simply contact us directly at: admin@auctionbidz.com.au
You should expect a response from one of our very friendly staff within 24 hours.

WILL MY CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS BE SECURE? |
|
(a) Yes, if you pay for an item by credit card via paypal, all credit card transactions will be redirected to "PayPals" secured site for processing, the most trusted name for online payments, no payments actually occur on the AuctionBidz website.
AuctionBidz does not hold your credit card details and we do not have any access to your credit card information.

CAN I LIST AN AUCTION FOR FREE? |
|
(a) Yes, you certainly can.
A no reserve auction, whether it be "standard" [single item] or "dutch." [multiple items] To do this, when you list your auction, simply choose type of auction you want to list and then leave the "reserve price" blank and "buy it now" price set to no.
Also leave all auction listing enhancements blank and the "additional pictures gallery" blank,[you will get 1 free image for your listing] and you won't be charged anything for listing your item, it will be free of charge.
Although if your item sells, a sales fee may apply.
To view the end of sale fees click on the "site fees" link in the header of the home page.

HOW DO I GET ID VERIFIED? |
|
There are now 3 ways to get "ID Verified" at AuctionBidz, either by making a one cent payment through "PayPal" or by posting us the required identification details by mail and we'll verify you manually or if you have a scanner, simply scan the required documentation and email it to us.
The 3 methods are listed below.
(1) PAYPAL VERIFICATION:
At the top of the page in your members area you will see a link which reads something
like, "Want to sell? Get ID Verified"
Click on this link, a page will then open up with the paypal gateway,
click on this paypal gateway which then takes you to paypals website,
if you have a Paypal account, simply then login to paypal and make the one cent payment
to verify you have a legitimate paypal account.
Why the one cent payment you may ask?
By making a payment through paypal using either a credit card or a bank account funded payment, then your details will be recorded by "PayPal" and we will be able to trace you if the need ever arises.(ie: in the case of fraud for example).
(2) VERIFICATION BY POST:
We have now added a new ID Verification method to AuctionBidz, due to some complaints from those who don't have or don't like to use credit cards online.
The new alternative way to get verified is, you send us the requirements listed below by mail and we'll verify you manually, unfortunately this process will take a few days before you'll be verified.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
Please register at AuctionBidz before sending your ID details, so we'll know who we're verifying when we get your information.
MAIN ID:
A copy of your Drivers license is required as a main form of identification.
SECONDARY ID
A copy of a current phone bill clearly showing your phone number and address.
Please note: Your ID details must match those of your registration details ie: name & address.

(3) VERIFICATION VIA EMAIL:
If you have a scanner then you may scan the original documents mentioned above ( Drivers license & Phone bill)
Only clear and original scanned documents will be accepted for email ID Verification.

CAN I RELIST MY AUCTION FOR FREE? |
|
(a) Yes you can,
if you list an item that doesn't sell you can re-list it for FREE ! We will not charge you to relist the same auction. You can relist your auction manually by going to your "all selling" section in your members area, click on the "closed auction" page and then click the relist link next to the closed auction you would like to relist,
When listing an auction, you can actually choose to have it relist automatically,
to do this check the auto-relist box when listing your auction and enter how many free relists you would like,
you can enter up to 50 auto relists absolutely free when you list your auction.

WILL AUCTION LISTING ENHANCEMENTS HELP SELL MY ITEM? |
|
(a) Yes most definitely.Auction Listing enhancements are a sure fire way to make your item stand out from the rest.
These include
(1) Bold Feature:
Your listing will appear in bold text.
(2) Highlite Feature:
Your listing when viewed by category will be highlighted in colour compared to regular listings which will appear in plain white.
(3) Additional Pictures Gallery:
When you list an auction you get 1 free image to show your item, with the pictures gallery you can upload 8 more images of your item to really show it off to prospective buyers.
(4) Category Featured:
Your item will appear above the regular listings with a short description and a large image of your item to really make it stand out to buyers. The category featured items are the first listings a buyer will see, when they view a category.
(5) Homepage Featured:
The king of enhancements, your item will randomly appear on the homepage of the "AuctionBidz" website. Your listing will appear with a short description as well as a large image of your item, a click on your item will take a buyer directly into your auction listings page, anyone and every one who visits the "AuctionBidz" website will see the "home page featured" items.
So if you want to get ATTENTION for your item, the listings enhancements will do it for you.

HOW DO I LIST AN AUCTION? |
|
(a) To sell an item first login or register then click the "sell" link in the header of the homepage,
from there just fill out the details for your listing in all the required fields and click the "continue" button at the bottom of each page of the listing process through till you finish the process.
It's really simple. [note: after you upload the pictures of your item, then click the "continue" button, it could take several minutes to load the images onto our system depending on how many images you uploaded (up to 9) and depending on the type of internet connection you have, please be patient while your images load.]

HOW DO I SETUP AN AUCTIONBIDZ STORE: |
|
(a) To setup an AuctionBidz store,
First click on the "Store" link in your members area,
this will open your store setup page.
Next, clck on the "Create Store URL" button
Next, Choose "Yes" to enable store
Next, Choose Account type (currently only one cent)
Next, select appropriate Store category(s)
Next, Enter a Store Name
Next, Enter a Store description
Next, Choose a Store design,
Next Click the "Save" Button
This will then save the settings and enable the store, the store will not appear on the
site until you list an item in it.
You can then add store pages details to your store by clicking on the "Store Pages" link,
located at the top of the setup page.

HOW DO I KEEP TRACK OF ITEMS I AM SELLING? |
|
(a) You can keep track of every item you are selling by visiting your "members area" and selecting the "All Selling" page. There you'll find your "open auctions", "closed auctions" and "sold auctions" as well as "won" auctions.

HOW DO I PLACE A BID ON AN AUCTION? |
|
(a) To place a bid you must first login or register, then go to the auction details page of the item you want to bid on, at the top & bottom of this page you'll find a bidding box where you can place your bid. You must only bid on an item if you intend to purchase it.
To place a bid, enter the bid amount and click the "Place Bid" button, the bid confirmation page will then show the "Proceed" and "Cancel" buttons.
To confirm your bid click the "Proceed" button, this will confirm your bid amount, or you can hit the "Cancel" button to exit.
If you hit "Proceed" a message will appear stating wether your bid amount was successful or not ( depending whether there is a reserve price on the item or not),
you can then enter a higher bid amount if you wish to proceed in the case your bid amount wasn't successful or hit "Cancel" to exit at your current bid amount.
If you can't see these two Buttons, try scrolling the page down a little as they may be appearing below your screen level.

HOW DO I KEEP TRACK OF AUCTIONS I AM BIDDING ON |
|
(a) If you go to the "All Buying" page in your members area, you'll find the status of all auctions you are bidding on, from this page.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I'M OUTBID ON AN AUCTION? |
|
(a) You'll automatically be notified via email by the AuctionBidz system if you are outbid on an item.
Then you can decide to bid again if you like.

CAN I USE HTML WHEN LISTING AN AUCTION? |
|
(a) Yes you can, but we recommend you use basic tags only as complex HTML descriptions may not display correctly.
